By accessing or using our website, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out below. These terms govern your use of the website and the purchase of any products or services. The information and services provided on this site are intended for residents of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) only. Our country of domicile is the United Arab Emirates, and governing law is the local law of the UAE.

We reserve the right to amend these terms at any time. Continued use of the website following such changes constitutes your agreement to be bound by the amended terms.

1. Eligibility to Use the Site

  • Individuals under the age of 18 are not permitted to register or transact on this website.
  • By registering or purchasing, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.
  • If you are using this website on behalf of a business or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity.
  • The user is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account.

2. Accepted Payment Methods

We accept the following methods of payment:

  • Visa
  • Mastercard

All prices are listed in United Arab Emirates Dirhams (AED). The name that will appear on your payment statement is Sourdough Catering Services LLC.

The displayed price and currency at the checkout page will be the same price and currency printed on the Transaction Receipt, and the amount charged to the card will be shown in your card currency.

3. Currency and Pricing

  • All transactions are processed in AED.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing at any time without prior notice.
  • Prices displayed at the time of purchase are final and apply only to online purchases.

4. Product Descriptions and Availability

  • We strive to ensure that product descriptions are accurate; however, we do not warrant the completeness or accuracy of such information.
  • All images are for illustrative purposes only.
  • Products are offered only within the UAE. We do not accept international orders.
  • We reserve the right to cancel any order due to incorrect pricing, typographical errors, or product unavailability.

5. Placing an Order

When placing an order, you agree to provide:

  • Full name
  • Valid delivery address
  • Email address
  • Contact number
  • Payment details

Once you place an order, cancellation is not permitted, even if our confirmation is pending.

6. Order Confirmation & Payment Receipt

  • You will receive a confirmation email upon successful payment.
  • Payment confirmation will be issued within minutes of the transaction, depending on the payment gateway and issuing bank.

7. Delivery Policy

  • We deliver only within the United Arab Emirates.
  • Delivery is free of charge for orders meeting our minimum order size.
  • Products are delivered within 7 days of receiving payment.
  • Our driver will request your signature upon delivery to confirm receipt.
  • Title to the goods passes to you upon delivery and full payment.
  • We are not responsible for any delays or losses caused during delivery.

8. Return, Exchange, and Refund Policy

We will replace or refund your order if:

  • The product is defective, damaged, tampered, or expired
  • The wrong item was delivered

You must notify us within 48 hours of delivery via our Contact Us page or at hello@birchcafe.com.

Refund Policy:

  • Refunds will be processed to the original payment method.
  • Refunds take 10–45 working days, depending on your bank.
  • Refunds will not be processed for claims made after 48 hours.

Cancellation Policy:

  • Cancellations are not accepted once an order has been placed.

9. Website License and Use

  • You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to access and use our website for personal use.
  • Downloading, modifying, copying, reproducing, or distributing any part of this website is strictly prohibited without our written consent.
  • Use of data scraping, bots, or mirrored websites is not allowed.

10. Intellectual Property

  • All content, trademarks, designs, and images on this website are either owned by or licensed to Sourdough Catering Services LLC.
  • You may not use any trademarks, logos, or content without prior written consent.

11. Privacy Policy

We are committed to protecting your privacy. While we do not store any credit/debit card information, all payment data is processed securely through Telr Payment Gateway, which is PCI-DSS Level 1 certified.

All credit/debit card details and personally identifiable information will NOT be stored, sold, shared, rented or leased to any third parties.

https://birchbread.com takes appropriate steps to ensure data privacy and security including through various hardware and software methodologies. However, https://birchbread.com cannot guarantee the security of any information that is disclosed online.

12. Cookie Policy

Our website may use cookies to enhance your browsing experience. Cookies store basic information to help us understand site usage. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not function properly.

13. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failure in performance resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control (e.g., natural disasters, war, internet outages, etc.). If a delay exceeds 30 days, either party may terminate the agreement with 7 days’ written notice.

14. Third-Party Links & Content

We may display content or ads from third-party websites. We do not endorse or assume any responsibility for such content.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for any indirect, special, or consequential damages.
  • Our liability is limited to re-supplying the goods or refunding the purchase.

16. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold us harmless from any claim or demand made by any third party due to your breach of these Terms or violation of any law or rights.

17. Sanctioned Countries

We do not trade with or provide services to OFAC and sanctioned countries in compliance with UAE law and international trade agreements.

18. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of the UAE.

19. Modifications to Terms and Conditions

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be effective on the date they are posted. We encourage users to check this page frequently.
